Welcome to my school! Well, that's mostly true - deep down this is Barbara Bergström's school - "the one who started it all" back in 1993. I have been lucky to work with Mrs Bergström in one capacity or another since I first joined IES as a science teacher back in 2003.

I would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome you to Internationella Engelska Skolan Hässelby Strand. Our school is located just outside the city of Stockholm, a short walk from Grimsta nature reserve.

We have much to look forward to here at IES Umeå - Winter Sports Day, Prao, National Tests, Choice and Graduation, to name a few. Whilst I have worked mainly as an Assistant Principal, I also enjoyed the opportunity to be Acting Principal at IES Årsta during the academic year 2019 - 2020. As an experienced IES educator, I am confident that setting high expectations for students and having high standards for staff is the basis upon which to build opportunities for success at all levels.
